Checking open ports on target host

Portscanning is a way to find out which ports are open on the target host. We all love a good port scan, but sometimes it's hard to tell which ports are actually open on your target.
When you're scanning for open ports on your target host, there are a few ways to do it.
- Fast Scan target
This command scan just the most popular 100 ports with the -F (fast scan) option.

- Normal Port Scan
TCP scan for FTP(21), SSH(22), SMTP(25), HTTP(80), POP(110), IMAP(143), HTTPS(443), SMB(445). Service detection (-sV) is also enabled in this port scanning configuration and you will get the version of the running services.

- Scan All Ports
If you want to be thorough, then you can use the scan all ports option. This will tell you everything about all of the ports on your target host.

Additional options for scan

We have many features to our port scanner. It is a tool that scans the ports of a particular host or network and determines what protocol and service is being used on that port. The nmap.online is an online version of the nmap program which has been developed for scanning networks for information about hosts that are connected to the internet. You can use this tool to get more comprehensive results from a port scan, traceroute, firewall detection and banner grabber etc. With additional features, you will be able to get more detailed result.
